Survey Crew Chief

Engineering & Surveying Properties is looking to hire a full time Survey Crew Chief with a minimum of 3 years’ experience leading a surveying field crew.  Responsible for boundary/topographic/site plan surveys and associated field notes and sketches, data collection, and GPS.   Field experience must include extensive knowledge of proper traverse and data collection techniques for office reduction.  Candidate must have a valid NYS Drivers’ License.

Civil Engineer / Project Manager

Engineering & Surveying Properties, P.C. (EP) is hiring a Civil Engineer / Project Manager to work in our Village of Montgomery office to join our professional staff. 

The applicant’s responsibilities for this position would include engineering design and project management.

  • Engineering design includes civil/site design including site layout, subdivision design, site grading, stormwater runoff, water and sewer design, and profiles.

  • Project management responsibilities include management of projects, clients, staff engineers and project presentation to local, county, and state agencies.

Qualifications are a B.S. in Civil Engineering with 5-10 years of practical experience in a professional consulting environment. Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) NY is preferred but not required, however a certification as an Intern Engineer (IE) is a minimum requirement. Candidates should be proficient in technical writing, have solid verbal and written communication skills, and be able to interact effectively with clients, project teams, and colleagues internally. Candidate should have significant experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office software.   Experience in project management is required for success in this position.
